Are you going to start playing poker or have you been playing for a while and plan to improve your game? We can't help you become a good poker player, but we can certainly provide you the best poker cards. Do you need to improve your game? There are plenty of poker players looking for opponents to spar just like you. They will be impressed by the quality of cards that you will have.

Poker Rules

The game is played with a minimum of two and a maximum of ten players at a table and a deck of fifty-two cards. Each round, each player is dealt two cards that they keep to themselves. In the course of the game round, five cards are placed face up on the table that are visible to everyone, the player with the best hand remaining wins.

Game play

A so-called dealer button indicates who the dealer is. Betting starts with a small blind and a big blind. These are bets that players must make. Then everyone bets in the usual order.

The blinds

Before we actually start playing, the first player to the left of the dealer is required to bet a pre-arranged amount (small blind), after which the player to the left of this small blind in turn puts the big blind, who in most cases will be two times as high as the small blind.

First betting round

The player to the left of the big blind is the first to act. He has three options: call, raise or fold. On call, the player bets the same amount as the big blind, on raise, this poker player bets an extra amount. With fold, this round ends for him, you no longer play for the pot, but it does not cost him a bet. An additional option is re-raise, an extra raise after a raise.

Once again the three options:

Fold. Your cards are too bad to play. You throw them away. (mucking)
Call. You go with the big blind bet and place the same number of chips.
Raise. You increase the bet and therefore bet more than the big blind.

The Flop and the 2nd betting round

There are 3 cards on the table that are visible to everyone. These three cards form the flop and each player uses them to make a combination of five cards together with their hand cards. Besides call, raise or re-raise you can also check. You can continue playing for free until the next turn. If a bet has been made, you can call for that amount or raise it (raise).

The Turn and the 3rd betting round

After the second betting round, the next card on the table is dealt face up. This is the turn card. This card is another addition to the player's hand cards to make a five card poker hand. Players can check, bet, call, raise and fold again.

The River and the last betting round

After the third betting round, the fifth and final community card is exposed. This is the river card. Now the last betting round follows. This precedes the showdown. That's when everyone who's still in the game has to reveal the cards. Winner is the one with the highest card, he wins the pot.

Split pot

When there are two of the same winning hands, it's a split pot. If the pot cannot be exactly divided and there is a remaining chip, it goes to the player who made the last bet or raise. If that is also undecided, the chip goes to the player to the left of the dealer.
